Patricks_mugPatrick Butler is the co-founder and executive editor of Resonate News. He has extensive experience in television and print journalism.

His was cited by the Dallas Press Club Katie Awards for news and column writing. The Associated Press Managing Editors Association cited him for his column writing in 2009.

He was selected in the Top Ten Writers in America for his work interpreting faith issues in the mainstream press by the Religion Newswriters Association in 2005, a secular organization.

He has won national Amy Foundation writing awards on two occasions and been honored with a number of civic involvement appreciation awards for his writing on charitable causes.

He was also honored with the Gold and Bronze Halo awards by the Southern California Motion Picture Council for his documentary script writing.

He has worked extensively in news and public affairs producing with ABC and TBN television network affiliates.

Patrick was the religion and nonprofit organizations editor for the Tyler Morning Telegraph for seven years before joining Resonate in 2010 as executive editor. He lives in East Texas with his wife and three children. Add a comment
Raymonds_mugRaymond Billy is the assistant editor for Resonate News. He joined the website in January 2011 after five years in the newspaper industry.

Prior to joining Resonate News, Billy worked for two years as a copy editor for the Tyler Morning Telegraph. He was also a contributing editorial writer there, having penned dozens of articles presenting the paper's opinion on national and international politics.

His career in journalism began in 2006 as a contributing columnist for The (Shreveport, La.) Times. In 2007, Billy joined the Jacksonville Daily Progress as assistant editor, where he worked primarily as a page designer, web administrator and reporter.

In addition to the above-mention publications, Billy's work has been published in The (Hammond, La.) Daily Star, The Meridian (Mississippi) Star, and The Odessa American.

Billy studied journalism and political science at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La. While there, he was opinion page editor of the student newspaper, The Current Sauce. Add a comment

He worked for 20 years as an editor, columnist and writer for McClatchy Newspapers in California. In 1990 he formed the Communications Department at the University of the Nations campus in Kona, Hawaii, and served as its director for over 15 years. During that time he edited its international magazine, Transformations, and managed content for several websites. He and his wife Sandi, also a writer and editor, have edited over 60 books and two study Bibles. Together they also teach writing and editing at YWAM schools and workshops in Texas, Hawaii and England. Scott has a BA in journalism from Fresno State University.
