Scott Tompkins brings an extensive news and media background to his work with ResonateNews.com 
He worked for 20 years as an editor, columnist and writer for McClatchy Newspapers in California. In 1990 he formed the Communications Department at the University of the Nations campus in Kona, Hawaii, and served as its director for over 15 years. During that time he edited its international magazine, Transformations, and managed content for several websites. He and his wife Sandi, also a writer and editor, have edited over 60 books and two study Bibles. Together they also teach writing and editing at YWAM schools and workshops in Texas, Hawaii and England. Scott has a BA in journalism from Fresno State University. He and Sandi live in Hideaway, Texas and have two married daughters, Bonnie and Melody.
