"Wholeness, Wellness, Healing and Destiny" Counters Trail of Tears Legacy

"We have to start looking completely different to release the power and authority to establish people’s destinies and strengthening one another with the gifts God have given us. These meetings are an opportunity to come and step into your destiny." - Ken Bryan, Texas Apostolic Prayer Network

A “Trail of Healing” to help restore the hearts, spirit and body of Native Americans and other cultures is scheduled to take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The three-days of meetings beginning at 7 p.m. Friday will be held at the Spirit of the Lord IMAPCT Center at 1401 E. Street, in Snyder, Oklahoma.

“The idea behind the Trail of Healing is to bring health and wellness to all participants – including Native American peoples in the area – so they can walk in, and be fulfilled in their destinies,” said the Rev. Ken Bryan, director of Kenshire and member of the executive council of the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network (TXAPN), headquartered in  Arlington, Texas. “Our desire is to see hearts healed and psychical healings to encourage people to fulfill their God-given potential.”

A team of about 30 intercessors and ministers from four states will converge on Snyder for the Trail of Healing, and be part of the ministry team that will pray for participants, said Bryan.  In addition, prayer requests for healing can be made via the internet at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ,  and the ministry team will pray over each request, he said.  The event is free.

Reconciliation meetings in recent years between European and First Nation peoples, often called “Host Nations,” have been encouraging and necessary, said Bryan. But the time has come for us to move forward so healing be complete. We need to reconcile and then let go of – problems of the past that have held the nation back as a whole.”

The Rev. Dr. Tom Schlueter, coordinator of TXAPN, will be the featured speaker at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Merrie Cardin, also of the executive council of TXAPN, is scheduled to lead off the three-day meetings on Friday. Bryan will speak at 10 a.m.  Sunday.

Worship will be led by Enrique Morales of the San Francisco (California) House of Prayer
The event is sponsored by Kenshire Ministries of Waskom, East Texas, and TXAPN

“The situation today is similar to a husband and wife having a fight, reconciling, but then constantly going back over the offense, what caused the offense and reconciling again and again instead of actually going about loving one another, living together and helping each other,” Bryan said.   “Reconciliation meetings have, should and will continue across North America. But we have to start looking completely different to release the power and authority to establish people’s destinies and strengthening one another with the gifts God have given us.”

The meetings are an opportunity to “come and step into your destiny,” said Bryan.
